We have both short-term and long-term time deposits. Minimum balance of $500 required.*  Time deposits have higher interest rates but also have penalties for early withdrawals.

Standard Certificates of Deposit
Our 30 day, 91 day, 6 month and 1 year time deposits offer simple interest paid at maturity and are automatically renewable.

Our 2 year, 3 year, and 5 year time deposits offer interest compounded daily with your choice of interest payable monthly, quarterly, annually or at maturity.

Opportunity Plus Certificates of Deposit
The 1 Year Opportunity Plus CD offers simple interest paid at maturity and is automatically renewable. This CD also offers the additional benefit of allowing you to increase the interest rate two (2) times during the term if rates rise. Also, you can deposit to it at any time.

A 2 year Opportunity Plus CD offers interest compounded daily with your choice of interest payable monthly, quarterly, annually, or at maturity. This CD offers the additional benefit of allowing you to increase the interest rate four (4) times during the term if rates rise. Also, you can deposit to it at any time.

Retirement Plan Servicing
Mt. McKinley Bank offers Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) with many options for you.** You can choose to fund your IRA with one or more time deposits with a maturity of six months or longer. You may also choose to place your retirement dollars in a money market account which gives you a competitive variable interest rate without the worry of early withdrawal penalties.
